I'm always looking for simple recipes using food items I always have around the house. This cheesy oven-baked hashbrown recipe has very few ingredients and requires very little prep. Perfect for a busy weekend morning or even a last minute holiday breakfast!
In a large bowl, combine frozen hashbrowns, sliced onions, melted butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir to combine (It's okay if the melted butter gets cold again from frozen hashbrowns)
Add cheese to hashbrown mixture and stir to combine again.
Line baking sheet with foil (or a silicone baking liner for a guaranteed nonstick result)
Pour hashbrown mixture onto lined baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Notes
*If hashbrowns have been thawed ahead of time, cut the baking time in half.
