For the past almost decade of our lives, fall has been about football. A weekly schedule that revolved around Larry and his crazy NFL routine. I would spend all of my weekdays preparing for weekends of hosting friends and family and then do it all over again week after week.

It was a time of chaos that I thoroughly enjoyed, but I also longed for a slower pace. I craved the quiet and a chance to focus on things that really matter - my faith, my marriage, my friendships, and my mental well-being.

Yesterday, as I struggled through another long day with Wes on very little sleep - I took a moment to trim some branches from autumn colored trees on our back fence line. When I brought them inside, I took a moment to stop and reflect on the where I am in this new fall season and couldn’t help but be filled with joy.

God has provided Larry and I with the slow-paced life that we craved for ourselves and our children. So as I walked around our property and trimmed branches with Wes on my chest, I was reminded to praise the provider of all of this… because He is so good. 🍂

Wes Kekani Warford officially made his entrance yesterday morning right after midnight and we could not have been more excited to meet him 🤍

I cannot believe we are a week and a half out from

I cannot believe we are a week and a half out from our due date! He is still very comfortable inside my belly for now though. This pregnancy absolutely flew by (except for the last month) and Larry and I could not be more excited to meet our little man!

When we were designing our forever home, we knew we wanted a playroom right off of the great room but goodness has it been fun to turn it into our first baby’s nursery. When we were trying to get pregnant, I had to move on from decorating this room because it made me sad that we weren’t expecting month after month.

But as always, God is good. His timing is perfect. And right at the end of our home building process, I finally allowed myself to start turning this room into the nursery of our dreams!

It’s been quite a journey to become parents, but the Warfords are officially ready for the task! Now how do I help this little man get here soon?? 😅

Photo and Video day is officially DONE! I knew it had to happen before our little man gets here but it was definitely not easy getting the house this clean with two pups and my pregnant energy level at an all time low.

So thankful for our amazing builders, designers, and architects who are just as proud of this house as we are. I still can’t believe it’s really our’s!
