I am not someone who keeps things around that I don’t really need and I definitely don’t like a bunch of clutter around but my backstocking tendancies are why I cannot officially give myself the minimalist title. When I am talking about backstocked items, I am not talking about household staples that I always keep around the house but rather the items that I keep around in bulk. They are my backups and honestly backups to my backups. It may sound really silly, but I do this for a few reasons:
- I can save quite a bit of money by buying items in bulk and by taking advantage of sales.
- I can support small-businesses without the fear of delayed shipping or their product being temporarily out of stock.
- I never have to worry about being out of any of our household necessities. This one might seem silly and it’s not like I’m preparing for another 2020, but when the grocery stores were out of toilet paper and typical food items I was just fine with what I already had around the house.
Now let’s talk about what specifically I backstock in each area of my home.
