This quarantine has magnified everything in our homes: our marriages, our families, our friendships, our beliefs, and even our mental health. Seeing those things up close can bring so much joy but they can also bring up a lot of pain too.
I know I’m not alone when I say that I have experienced all of the emotions over these past few months. And because I know I’m not alone in this, I know that other people need to hear how much they are appreciated and valued. So I am choosing to be more intentional in my relationships across the board. My favorite way to invest in other people is through hand-written notes.
Each month, I am choosing five people to write to. This month, I am choosing people who were there for me in my first few years of teaching. To add a special touch, I found some dried lavender to put in each envelope. As the months go on, I will continue to come back to this post and update it with the five new people. I hope this encourages you to think about the relationships in your life too. We need to spread love now more than ever.
So, who will you write to this month?
