Anyone that knows my family knows that summertime means pineapple vodka! Not that store bought kind that is insanely sweet and tastes like fake pineapple candy. No no, this thing is the real deal and it honestly couldn’t be easier to make. Even though I have made this more times than I can count, I cannot claim this recipe for my own. It was definitely my mom who learned how to make it after seeing it done at a steak restaurant in Dallas. They served it as a pineapple martini because honestly, it is so dang good by itself but more than one of those martinis could lead to quite an interesting evening.
I brought the pineapple vodka recipe from Dallas to New Orleans and introduced quite a few of Larry’s teammates and their significant others to our favorite beverage. We would have it after big wins or tough loses and you can ask any of them… It never disappoints.
For years, my family has mixed it with a coconut LaCroix for a perfect poolside drink but this week I have been working on a few other cocktail ideas to make the most out of my favorite boozy beverage. I also tried out a new infusion with berries and it was delicious! Below, you will see the recipes for both vodka infusions and two cocktail recipes for each in the note section. Try them out and let me know what you think!
Pineapple Infused Vodka
Ingredients

- Let vodka soak in the pineapple for 14 days
- Strain the vodka out of the pineapple and back into the original vodka bottle or into any bottle of your choosing.*Do NOT eat the pineapple pieces (trust me, it's disgusting)
