Hey! I'm Emily. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am a wife to my favorite person and a dog mom to two pit mixes. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and taught kindergarten in Kentucky for three years. My husband, Larry, played in the NFL for seven years with the Detroit Lions and the New Orleans Saints. When we moved to New Orleans in 2017, I decided to take a break from teaching to be with Larry full time. For the past few years I have gotten the chance to host friends, family, and teammates in our home in New Orleans. I learned how to keep plants alive, cook recipes for large groups of football boys, and pour into and love on those that matter most. As we step away from the football life and into our next chapter, I hope to continue to grow into the woman God desires me to be and make our home a place where everyone feels safe, loved, and celebrated.
